I love poking at my belly and baby responding with a boot back, but just now I gave him a poke and felt something bounce underneathe haha I think I just whacked his leg! It bounced under my skin.

I once wondered the same thing, but dismissed myself as being daft, he's well protected in there, I dont think we could do something like poke them in the eye.

I'm forever poking! But never felt a smaller limb actually bounce, I defo think I got his leg this time hahah

Yeah my OH always says to leave him alone lol I'll bruise the poor thing lol. Then I noticed him doing to same thing to my tum so he can feel him.

HAHA i always say the same!! my mw is well rough!!! a little rubbing & prodding from me I think must be nice as he knows "someone out there" knows hes there & is loving him already :0) xxx

My baby isnt keen on the MW either, she doesnt prod as hard as some but its harder than what i prod him/her. When she was feeling my stomach yesterday she/he full on booted her it was quite amusing, i bet s/he was thinking will you just sod off

My OH was worried about me hurting the LO with my pokes and prods. Then he came to the MW appointment and saw how much she pressed down on my tummy. Now he's not so worried about my little pokes at my belly. He even had a proper feel the other day at my stomach, before this he just placed he hand on my belly, but he loved it as the baby kicked him back!
