whos had their health visitor visit yet?

i had mine today, shes ok i guess, seemed friendly but didnt seem to approve of our 2 big fluffy malamutes we share our home with, stupid woman looked at them like they were wolves wanting to feast on the baby!

UGH! if she says anything when babies here il tell her that i actually leave the baby with them and they babysit..........

well they come to talk to you about stuf which i barely remember
but yeah they do home visits, etc. seems all a bit nosey doesn't it.

Definitely! The only reason in the US someone would come to our house is if they're a social worker and they have some reason to be concerned about the care of the baby!

mmm same as when my mom had me in south africa, she asked me if i was being abused by my OH n stuff.... i guess they[re just mandatory questions they gotta ask everyone but still...i didnt like that :S

I don't have a health visitor I think?!
My MW comes over every other day, well either she does or another MW & they do all the checks and stuff.
We are meant to be going to a post-natal thing up the hospital tomorrow aswel.

mine came last week...wasnt even told she was coming and was just about to go and get the pram...she delayed us and we ended up in rush hour lol she's nice though x

i have mine on Wednesday 15th, but its just a midwife check at home and shes like going through breathing techniques in labour and other things im looking forward to it x

the only time i saw a health visitor in my pregnancy was yesterday when i had to get Aliyah weighed again x

I have a health visitor after babies here but i had to have MW home check at the beginning and she even admitted that it was essentially for a nosey round the house! I had her come to my mums because to be honest OHs house is a damp mold fest and i didn't want her judging. I have a new house now though and i'll be inviting people round!..xx
