Hi ladies

The title says it all really. I am 8 +3 and have no CM at all. I had some spotting last week, which has thankfully now gone but since then I have been really dry. Am starting to panic that it's not normal.

I have scan tomorrow to check everything is OK since the spotting so I will know more then but just wondered if anyone else experienced this dryness as all I keep reading is that I should be having an abundance of white, creamy CM. The tiny bit I had was more like fertile CM but it's hardly there at all..

I'm so neurotic I am driving myself slightly mad..

Would love to hear any honest thoughts xx

I don't think it's a problem? I don't have much/any either (some days I'd have enough to notice & most days nothing) & just saw our little one on an us last night.

I had tons of CM in my MC cycle and this pregnancy I dont have as much as I did.

There are times where loads just come out but other than that I dont see CM.
When I had my pelvic exam my doc said I had tons of it in there though! I think every pregnancy is different. I have read that our cervix is closed so its keeping all that cm closed up too so who know but best wishes!!!

Thanks so much for your replies, it has made me feel a bit better. I can't believe how unbelievably anxious I am and have been over the last 8 weeks. I'm praying my u/s tomorrow is good after my spotting last week. At least that has stopped, which I am taking as a positive x

I've been completely dry too, I'm not as far along as you but it seems normal for me for this pregnancy. I think I only had lots of CM with my son.

I'm so glad its not just me. I'm so annoyed I aren't textbook with everything. I've had no sickness, hardly any other symptoms at all! I really hope tomorrow goes ok, I'm very nervous about it!

Thanks for replying and I hope you have a sticky little bean too x

I know I'm pregnant when my CM dries up!! This will be my fourth baby, so i am a little experienced. ;) My fertility app says lots of discharge is a pregnancy sign but dryness usually means not pregnant. Not for me!!!! And I've had spotting throughout first trimester with 3 of my 4 pregnancies. All have been perfect! For me, the dryness tends to go away when I am near second tri (12-14 weeks), and I get spotting in first tri if I have sex, after I "use the bathroom" (for a couple of days, so almost non stop!!!), or if I get a yeast infection. It's just caused by a sensitive cervix, for me, which is caused by the pregnancy and has no effect on pregnancy.

I feel quite dry this time round to. Otherwise I have a lot of symptoms so it's not bothering me

Thanks ladies..

I went for my scan on Wednesday and everything was fine, measuring well and heartbeat there.

Since then though my breasts have completely stopped hurting and gone back to Normal!! When does this roller coaster ever stop. I just hope it's fine as saw everything perfect on Wednesday. They did find I had a sub chronic haemorrhage though which explains my spotting. I'm 9 weeks now so really hoping I am getting much closer to being in the 'safer' zone and the loss of breast tenderness in the last two days means nothing.. Grrr

Xx
