Why buy baby toys?

Like seriously, why?
My LO is more interested in paper, cardboard boxes and empty bottles rather than her millions of baby toys!
We're starting to pack and she is making it impossible by pinching my boxes!
Does anyone else's LO prefer these things to toys?

Yep! Coralie spent like 30 mins playing with a wotsit wrapper the other day. Strange girl!!

She never plays with any of her toys for that long. Not even the jumparoo!

I think it's the "dont touch/play with that", "don't put that in your mouth!" and the age old "NO!" that they find most appealing the more I say no the more she wants it!

As soon as I say "not for Katelyn" she goes for it more! Kids, eh?

LO loves catalogues (e.g. argos, holiday brochures etc.) credit cards (shopaholic ahoy!) cushions and any kind of box she can lay her hands on!

I may buy myself things when Christmas comes around and she can have the wrapping paper and boxes they come in!!
