why does late pregnancy seem one big tease?!

Backache combined with braxton Hicks....needing to go to toilet more often (well...the urge to go even though not technical diarrhoea) dull back/menstrual type aches, feeling ok but just...out of sorts today and a baby who seems quieter today. He's still moving just not as much.

Why?! I know I'm not going to go into labour in the next few days so why oh why do we get teased so much?! I could cry lol

I am in the same boat thankfully I have a sweep tomorrow and hopefully that kicks something off. The last 2 days have been the worst my nesting urge is gone. My back is killing me, bad cramps and I gave pretty much been watching my daughter make a mess. I am due Monday and it's scary to think I could still be like this for weeks

I was overdue with both the others...I fully expect and have accepted I'm going to go over this time. I would love to be in early labour but I'm not that lucky lol. I know it is horrible knowing could go in like this for a while yet.
saw your other thread earlier Paula...still nothing definate?! I was 10 days nd 7 days over before....it sucks doesn't it lol. Hope something happens soon for you

I was 6 days over with my first and 6 days early with my 2nd so even my hubby is on edge right now lol. Plus my babies come fast and furious so all this wondering is driving me mad too. This little boy is getting a strong talking too when he comes out

Every twinge makes me wonder. I'm 6 days late so far. Baby 1 was 12 days baby 2 was 14, both induced so I'd say my chances are slim.
Sweep last week couldnt be done they are trying again tomorrow, I'm done now ive well and truly had enough.

Oh dear I haven't been induced before or gone that far over so I can't say I understand waiting that long! Hopefully its 3rd time lucky for you and you will go on your own

I can't really blame mine for not wanting to come out the weather has been so bad the last few days I wouldn't want to be born in -35 degrees celsius either, but he could stop causing me so much pain! If he keeps it up he's grounded until he turns 18

Oh i've been feeling exactly the same as described above... so hoped i would go soon. dh reckons i'll b nearer end of jan... maybe even beginning of feb. goodness i hope not. so ready to meet my princess and get her home with us. i'll watch this post to c if symptoms r the start for anyone xxx

I'm kind of feeling the same too - baby feeling bit quieter today, going to the loo more often. And I've developed a really bad lower back pain this afternoon too, not sure what that means.

I don't know if it means anything anymore. Well..feels like it doesn't! Must be a sign that somethings happening...maybe something so minute that could help out later. Who knows lol. Be interesting though as we all deem to be due within a few days of eachother who will pop first

hi nope no definate signs! A few cramps here and there that's all! I am aching so much now though, my whole body! I have never felt so heavy and uncomfy and achey

Has your mw mentioned induction yet? I'm hoping it doesn't come to that with me but you never know...this one could be more stubborn than his brother and sister I rather hope not...I've had crappy heartburn for two days I don't need it for another fortnight!
Hopefully you will be taken by surprise

It's just the worst. I'm not even wanting to try anything to help it along anymore, but I guess I should. My energy level is so incredibly low right now--I took a nap while he kids were at school... Never do that.

Wish the babies would just come out happily right on time or slightly early without all the stress and worry.

I've been napping a lot too...think mainly out of boredom though I'm not used to being at home and not doing much. Haven't today though so might see if I cab get to sleep in a minute amongst the crappy heartburn and the backache if that's what it is!

Arghhhh now the insomnia... been up since 4 am and still getting some aches and pains. had enough... just want to go into labour already xxx
