So...after 7 months of trying for our first baby...I have finally realised that the hormones released by our bodies in the 2 weeks after ovulation create the same symptoms that you get when you are pregnant...
How CRAPPY!!! Basically....every month after ovulation I would feel very tired, sore boobs, bit nauseous in the morning and dizzy!!!! Every month in the beginning I would think I was definately preggers....but now 7 months down the line, I've realised it must just be the natural hormone release creating these symptoms. Also, read a few times now and heard from friends that normally pregnancy symptoms only start from about 5 or 6 weeks....so all of us symptom spotting are actually just experiencing normal post-ovulation symptoms.
Does this make sense??? Am I the only one who has realised this?
I am now about 12 DPO and have been tired, sore boobs and nauseous and I am not letting it get me even slightly excited...because I've now been through this enough times to know it's not gonna result in a BFP!
How unfair that this is the way our bodies work!!!
Bags and Bags of babydust to you all!!! x

I was reading yesterday that when the egg implants it sendsa signal to our body and brain saying "im pregnant", until then, it is impossible to have any pregnancy symptoms as we;re not pregnant untl then (not sure if that made sense lol)

I think, once we get past ov we are all hoping that we are noticing any little twinge in our bodies so our brain gets excited

I totally agree (although I still can't help symptom sporting!) I don't get excited at any symptom now as I have been TTC for 7 months also and have had everyone going. Plus the majority of symptoms start after 5-6 weeks.
It's still very hard though when you get dizzy/sore boobs not to think these are symtoms but the majority of us would have got them before TTC and hardly noticed them. It's only because we want this So badly and are tuned in and looking for a signs.
Good luck and let's hope it happens soon!! Xx

I am the exact same hun get all those symptoms. Like right now my boobs around the nipples are really sore, I feel quite crampy and AF is due anytime. Have been tired, had headaches you name it and this is month 10. It's so hard I am 100% sure I am not pregnant again this month be lovely to be surprised though!

How right you are.. When I was pregnant (I lost Ava at 20 weeks in March) I felt nothing except like I was getting my AF and peeing constantly.
They say you are not supposed to pee extra till you are in your 6th week, well i am here to say this is NOT true.. 2-weeks in I was peeing like crazy and getting bad cramps which I thought was AF, had NOooo idea I was pregnant.
Every symptom that could be pregnancy is also sings of AF. I just don't care i don't test until i miss my period, sometimes our bodies are cruel..
Good Luck To All :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Andypanda...so sorry for your loss! What a devastating thing to happen! *hugs*
I agree with all of you...bodies are cruel...they love tricking us into thinking we are preggers.
I have been peeing loads...but it's hot hot hot here at the moment, so have also been drinking loads...so that's probably why...
Also had a shocker of a headache yesterday... all these symptoms. If only straight after successful BD we would get green spots on our big toes that meant we were pregnant...would be so much easier...no waiting and no symptom spotting...just an obvious sign ;) lol!!!

I think even when we know what is causing our "symptoms" we still hold out hope that its our time.

I have been TTC since October 2009. At times I get frustrated with the fake symptoms, but at other times, it helps me to hold out a little glimmer of hope.

andypanda - so sorry about your loss hun :hugs:

I went out shopping this morning and had an itchy boob, yayyy i thought this could be a sign and then i remembered im using a new washing powder so its probably that
