Why is leg shaving painful?

I am 15 wks pregnant and for the last couple of weeks shaving my legs has HURT!



I have tried to search the net to see if this is pregnancy related or not, but all it comes up with is shaving your down below, and thats not what im trying to find out about!



my armpits dont hurt to shave, so im stumped. It hurts to put the razor up and down my legs, and afterwards my legs tingle for a lot longer than usual, and ive got lot more cuts.



Not changed my razor or shaving method, so really baffled lol

Your skin becomes much more sensitive during pregnancy. I've found my legs a little sore too. You could try waxing?

lol waxing my legs used to hurt before i got pregnant, not sure i can dare attempt that now but will bear it in mind!

ive had that same problem since falling pregnant i just keep wacking on the moisturiser afterwords but sometimes they are still irritated but i cant cope with hairy legs lol

Yea mine are the same, they just seem really sensitive and I itch for ages after I shave them xx

OMG dont wax em I use to wax mine but since getting my iv had to start shaving, waxing is far too painfull.

Your skin increases in sensitivity when your pregnant, its a hormone thing.
