Hi all,
I'm after more advice. My lo is now 8 weeks old and I've just switched him from breast to bottles. According to the formula instructions he should be having 6oz feeds 5 times a day. I've been making up 5oz bottles but he normally will only have 2-3oz each time (sometimes every 2 hours). He has finished the odd bottle so I know he can! How do I get him to take more, less often. I've tried leaving him a while and trying to top him up but once he's finished be just won't have any more. Is it just a case of waiting for his stomach to expand?

Thanks xxx

Feed him when he's hungry and let him take what he wants.

That would be great advice if I was stupid but as it turns out I'm not! Anyway I've just figured out the problem, he is a fussy little monkey and doesn't like it when it's cooled down. He'll take more if it's warm!

Your little one definitely knows what he likes. :)

Glad you've figured it out hun, can be fussy little monkeys for their size can't they?

Hannah's the other way....gets mad of her bottle is too warm :rofl:

:rofl::rofl:

Mine isn't too fussy at this point...as long as he gets his bottle.
