Why has she suddenly started refusing to go to sleep?!
Just over the last day or so as soon as I go to swaddle her or put the dummy in she is screaming and refusing to take the dummy.
She cant fall asleep without the dummy so has to be swaddled to so she doesnt push it out of her mouth.
I have had to leave her to cry for 5mins or so to get her to actually take the dummy then she goes straight to sleep!
But it is upsetting and distressing for me that for so long she has just peacefully taken the dummy and go to sleep.
What can I do to stop her setting off screaming every time?! It took me well over an hour to get her settled lastnight and it was supposed to be my relaxing night in with a friend
I feel horrid leaving her screaming but there is nothing else that will get her to realise she just has to take the dummy, I tried cuddling her lastnight and she was fine when I was holding her for a while then realise it was bed time and started screaming if I even put the dummy anywhere near her mouth!
Tried just not giving her the dummy but then she refused to go to sleep
