ugh. This is my first time temping and I think my body is just trying to mess with me right now. I'm due to ovulate very soon, in about 5 days or so. I have a ton of creamy CM but negative OPK's and my stupid temp is going bonkers. What should I make of this? I take it the same time every morning..10 AM. I don't move, I don't talk I don't do anything until I take my temp, so I know i'm doing it right, I'm not sick, I don't have a fever, UGH. How am I suppose to use this info i'm getting when it just keeps going up and down, up and down.

Opks may miss ur surge if its a short one. If ur temps stay high I wud say u ovulated already, looks like maybe cd9, if it drops again it may just be an out of place temp, maybe u woke up earlier and didn't realise x

well I have been taking opk's 3 times a day for the past 3 days, I just didn't record them, so i'm not sure how I would miss my surge. I will wait and see if it drops in the morning then.

It may just be an out of place temp then, ur not feeling ill at all? Also some people don't always record as positives on opks but still ovulate, it could be that ur levels got high but not high enough to be classed as positive, do u ever get positives?

Thats all I can think of hun, maybe urine too dilute?

Try not to get frustrated with the temps just yet. When I first started my charts were a little wonky...and to add to it my cycles are stupid long. Click on my chart and you should be able to see how crazy some of mine were. Just keep at it and I'm sure you will see a pattern by the end of your first or second cycle at it. Do you have regular cycles?

well my temp went back down today. I have used OPK's before and got a really dark positive on them, I have been holding in my urine for about 4 1/2-5 hours everytime I take it. so I don't think my urine is too diluted. My cycles are pretty regular, they range from 27 to 31 day cycles but most of the time I have a 29 day cycle. but have started as late as 2 days. and as early as 2 days, so I guess it just depends..What do you guys think of my temp today?

I think it was just an unusual temp. My first cycle my temps were all over the place, highest pre o was 37 and lowest was 35.8 but I still noticed a shift after o xx

My temp are really crazy too. The stronger my ovulation seemed the crazier my bbt's would be that cycle. This was my last chart before bfp...my pre o temps were all over the place. It took a few cycles before I could look at the big picture and make sense of it...don't give up.
