Im sleepy....

Last night Evie decided she wanted to get up for the day at 4am after going to sleep at 9pm (normally sleep until 6/7)

Tonight she went down later at about 10 and was wide awake at 1:45 and I'm now feeding her and I'm hoping she is going back to sleep ad I can't start the day now :/

Why do you think she is waking?

OH said her legs were cold and her room temp is 16.7 and she is dressed in the following

Socks
Long sleeve vest
Sleep suit
2.5 sleep bag

If she is cold should I put some trousers on her?

Could there be another reason for waking?

She's not crying just wide awake
xx

It's a big developmental time (sitting, etc). I wonder if her brain is going crazy with a new skill to practice.

Do you think that's what it could be?

She used to be really good and sleep really well.

She can sit very well but is struggling with tummy time and crawling and getting very frustrated and just 'swims' on the carpet lol

Altho today she started babbling 'dadadadadada' so maybe she is working on speech too?
xx

I have a bad sleeper so I'm not sure but if she's wide awake (rather than continually feeding) it's usually developmental skill practice, esp if it's out of character

hey miss bump, Tobi is having similar issues at the moment, he was wise awake at 1230 till 2 last night!
Hoping it is just a phase!

My LO, albeit a bit younger than yours @ 22 weeks has been waking every morning at 4am on the dot.
I thought we had cracked it last two nights but she woke again last night, exactly 4am.
She has slept brilliantly since 6 weeks and only had a strange couple of weeks around 4 months where she woke between 2-4am for a feed - she grew a lot in this time and once that was over so were the night feeds again.
She never seems hungry at 4am, she wakes with coo's and giggles even though we don't go near her and see if she will nod off.
She isn't cold/too hot and nappy no wetter than usual.
She will stay happy for an hour, then start to moan and we have let her CIO and that worked after 15 minutes.
However, the last two days she slept through she ate 'dinner' (never been fed before).
She had a good 5 spoonfuls, mouth wide open and then her feed.
Yesterday I didn't give her any baby rice as she was quite bad with her reflux in the day (long car journey) and and she woke up....
Now, I am not sure if it is a coincidence or not but I will feed her today...
I did give her a small feed at 4am just to see if she was hungry (she is usually fed 7.30am) and she gulped it down and went straight back to sleep from wide awake...
I don't know!!!
You are not alone xx
