Will it be too late to book 20 week scan?

I have moved to a new area and need to get my new midwife to book me a 20 week scan. I don't have an appointment with her until I will be 16 weeks and 5 days. Is this going to make my scan late? I was wondering about phoning and asking her to book it...
Any advice appreciated!

You could give her a call and ask. I think it depends how long the waiting list is at the hospital, I got my scan appointment through 3 days after my appointment and it was for three weeks time. According to the poster at the hospital, the 'mid pregnancy' scan can be done up to 20 weeks and 6 days xxx

I phoned the midwife and she said she would try to arrange one now as they are very busy. Just thought I would post this as someone else may be in the same position.
