Will mw date me from Ov?

Feb was a wierd month for me and i had 2 periods... sorta

i was on the patch and expected period 9th of feb, but only had spotting 11-14th so applied patch on 13th as normal day for patch to go bk on
then hubby decided thurs 19th that we should TTC so i removed the PATCH and had a bleed 23-26th

then got pos on OPK 3/3

then i got BFP yesterday at 9/10dpo

so will MW date me from my OV date given i had wacky AF cos if she dates from last AF im not even supposed to be pregnant yet!

My MW & Drs all dated me on my LMP, even though it put me at 9wks, when I was only 4!! No one believed me until I had a scan at the EPAU because I was having some bleeding & cramping, thankfully they've been able to date me properly & my notes have all been updated. Hopefully your MW will believe your dates, but be prepared that they may not xx

I was dated on lmp too. Last pregnancy they dated me 3 weeks ahead of what I actually was, this time round they have it right. I used ovulation kits both times so knew exactly when I conceived Lolx

I was dated from lmp, which would put me at 7 weeks now. But that only works for girls with regular cycles. Mind have been 42-48 days, soooo not regular! I had pos opk feb 19 so I'm not 7 weeks! Had a scan last thurs as my lmp was also only 2 days so they wanted to confirm that was a period and not implantation or something. Anyway, they couldn't see anything at the scan but based on my cycles they thought I shouldn't worry and I was probably just far too early and probably I'm only like 5 weeks now.

I don't exactly ovulate on CD14 like the "normal" text book cycle... So when i went and see midwife (i calculated back 14days and worked out the date) and told her that Date and not my LMP...

When i had my Scan with my daughter my dates were 100% spot on

This time round, i couldn't actually tell you my LMP, as i had bleeding on and off for a week and it never actually got into full flow, so if i used that i know it would be totally incorrect... I also wasn't tracking Ovulation, as i didn't want to obsess with it like i did when TTC my daughter... So going by that i got my BFP at 10DPO with my Daughter, i compared my Pregnancy tests from that pregnancy and this one... and then calculated my Ovulation Date, added the 14days, calculated that back... and when i seen her i gave her "my calculated" LMP

You could tell her your LMP, but id say do expect that when you go for your dating scan, it will be off... If you use your ovulation date + 14days calculated back you have a better chance of hitting it right

Going by your Positive OPK, and using that as Ovulation (but you could of ovulated the 4th/5th) If we use the 3rd, calculate back 14days... That would give you a "LMP" 17th of Feb... If you just give midwife that, then you know that your dates aren't going to be loads out

they'll go on your last bleed. when I went to the doctor with my second I knew exactly when I ovulated and knew my exact due date and he said he can't go on ovulation, turned I was right hehe.
