will my midwife do an internal?

hi ladies, like the title says really i'm nearly 36 weeks and my last appointment was at 34 and was having strong pain's that she felt and said how low babys head was and she thought i wouldn't got full term, so since then i've had a lot of pain's on and off, like stabbing down there, feeling lots of movement really low and its starting to really hurt with the pressure, lost a lot of my plug not sure if it was all of it and also i'm my oh thought he could feel her head so i had a feel and i'm sure i can too, i've got to see my midwife in the morning so do you ladies think she will check whats happening down there for me or say no? Thanks X
