Don't over exert yourself and just enjoy the party!

A lot of new moms go so overboard that the 1st birthday party isn't even enjoyed, but just a big stress filled mess!

Remember, the 1st birthday party isn't something your child will even remember! And you don't wan to set the bar so high and have to keep "outdoing" yourself every year!

Relax and enjoy!

I totally agree with Vintage67, the Jungle theme sounds darling and you have it all pretty much planned why stress yourself and change everything..? It sounds like it will be a lovely 1st bday!

Your welcome, like i said I haven't read it, so I don't know if it will help, but it was exactly about what your dealing with.. I love the jungle room and the items your thinking of purchasing are too cute! I say do it... The jungle theme, that is.. I was also thinking his bday was like next week or something, so you hould have time to get stuff together

You have to post the pics when its all said and done too!!

I think you're stressing it too much, you already have everything planned so don't make extra work changing it all - especially when the other room isn't even available at that time. Jungle theme is great for a first birthday, it will be fab. Have a lovely day!

My 7 year old's last birthday was a jungle theme and the kids loved it!

I think it sounds fab! You could even do like a Jungle Book theme or something. I don't think it'll be too much, not for kids, they love all that sort of stuff ^^ you've still got loads of time to get organised and buy all the bits and pieces, so don't get stressed about it, it's going to look great :] x
