winter baby moms... bundle me?

Ladies i have a 3 year old who was born in June, so we never used the bundle me and returned it actually.

#2 is due february 4th.

Those that had winter babies, did you use the bundle me at all? i just feel like the baby would sweat to death in it with their layer of clothes and then blankets.

Thoughts?

It's the JJ Cole bundle me for the car seat. To put inside the car seat. It's like a thick soft layer to keep the baby warm in the winter i guess.

My son was born in November, and LO is due the same month. We used this continuously for his first 2 winters in the car seat and in the stroller, and we'll be able to reuse it for this one! I love it because here it gets really cold, but by law you can't put puffy snowsuits in the car seat so they need something thin. Our sac igloo is great because they stay warmer (especially hands and feet!) and you don't have to mess around with boots/booties and winter gear on a little baby. They just wear their regular clothes and I would put on a hat and mitts. So much easier. Once my LO was out of his infant seat (his second winter), I didn't use it for the car anymore - just the stroller. xx

But it gets pretty cold here!!! As in sometimes it warms up to -15C

Megan was born in december. We used it instead of blankets. It worked well for bringing the whole seat in and out of places when it was cold and snowy outside. And we unzipped in the car if the car was already warm. But she was just in normal clothes... No coat. and if we had been in the store or somewhere for a while and getting into the cold car we would leave it zipped a bit to cover her legs for the ride home.
