My brown line appeared the other week - can't remember the medical name for it - down my belly, but why do we get them??

I think I read that's its always there but as your skin stretches it becomes more visible...I'm very fair skinned so I may not even get one, supposedly the darker your skin the more noticeable the line.

It's the linea negra. Apparently is just some hyperpigmentation caused by estrogen. Weird, huh?!

As surprise says linea negra.. i never got one last time as i am so pale so dont expect one this time... dont mind them but hate the outy belly buttons never got that last time either so here's hoping.

From what I read its always there. When your pregnant it becomes more prononuced depending on skin type. I have it too.

ah thanks you guys! And I have the outty belly button too. It's disgusting but amazing at the same time. x

I think im starting to get one, been using the fake tan seen as though i can't go on sunbeds and now its looking visible because my skins darker.. Its either the line or fake tan gone wrong :haha:

i joke saying that its the runway, or the arrow pointing the way out for baby, lol.
i think i am lucky, i am fair skinned so i dont get it as bad, just looks like i need to shave my tummy, lol

It's your mummy badge!!!! :haha:

mine was very dark brown with dd, it went a month after the birth.

nooooo, the mummy badge is when you have had the baby and you are out and about and baby pukes on you when being winded/burped.
you wear the mommy badge of puke with pride as it is the most fantastic fashion accessory!!! lol
