well we are off in about for a long drive to go and get hubbys vasectomy reversal done, he is having it done early in the morning so wish us luck. none of our family or friends no we are having it done we are hoping to suprise them in a few months with a .

there is another member on here in the same situation and they are having theres done on monday at the same clinic so if i dont speak with her befor i hope all goes well for you and i will be thinking of you.x.x..x

thanks for your replys. he had it done at 9.00am this mornig and we are home already. the doc said it went very well and was very stright forward. it was a bit sick from the meds but is doing ok now just a bit uncomfortable so he has gone up for an early night.

He said he felt .normal' after 2-3 weeks.

First week and half was a nightmare -swelling etc

Everyones different hey

Tell your OH to take it VERY easy! and certainly NO nook for at least 3 weeks lol

We have our follow up app Wednesday X

thanks for that hes walking a bit better today but still VERY swallon which is to be expected. did your hubby have a support on after sugery as mine has but we did not ask how long to keep it on. they did say to keep it on at leaset 48 hours then wash but not sure if were ment to put it back on after?

My hubby wore his jock strap for 2 weeks solid.

We ended up getting another off eBay for like £5 as when his other was in the wash... He wore it day & night it WILL aid the swelling.

The first 2 weeks recovery are bad lol not gonna lie . . .

But after bout 2 and half weeks he'll be right as rain x
