Just thought I'd pop in for a quick hello. We are on the way to the airport for our trip to Las Vegas! We so need this break right now!

Hey ladies! Thought I'd do a quick check in. Had possibly the worst hotel experience in my life this morning. Here's the shortened story:
-our shower leaked- wet tile floors are not fun!
-maintenance came, said to fix the shower we would need to change rooms-we were told someone from the front desk would call in less than 10 mins
-40 mins later-no call, so I called and was told a bellman would being our keys to the new room
-20 mins later no keys (mind you we haven't eaten yet and hubby is a BEAR when hungry)
-I take the 10 min hike to the lobby, get keys to new room (on the way got stuck in elevator for 2-3 mins)
-get into new room, as soon as we open the door we are assaulted by a horrible smell.
-take the hike to the lobby, and after explaining, we are upgraded to a suite
-return to stinky room, only to discover we were now locked out-all our belongings were inside
-call front desk, told security was coming right up
-10-15 mins later, still locked out, housekeeping manager takes pity and opens the room
-I was so furious by this point, we hauled all our stuff to the lobby (and got stuck in the elevator again)
-got so upset when talking to the clerk, he ended up giving us a free lunch
We had a lovely lunch (and we splurged and dh got steak) and now we are in a suite that is almost the size of our condo. Plus we have a jetted hot tub. Only downside is our view is not as good. But I'm willing to sacrifice the view for this amazing room.

omg, what a debacle! At least you got a good room in the end. We had a shitty room in Thailand once. It had el;ectic locks and it kept on locking us out of the room, toilet wouldn't flush and this was the kicker - it had a little balcony that backed up to a concrete wall! Was actually pretty funny, I will se eif i can find a photo of the balcony. We ended up getting moved too.
Hello, just wanted to say and that I am off on half term this week, but wont be around as taking kids away on trip. The Wicked witch got me again at the end of the month, which has put a dampener on my mood! But on the bright side the time is passing towards our first appointment - roll on the 17th

Jaimie, sorry the evil witch got you too hun. I haven't got mine yet, I O early but have really long lp, so am expecting her today or tomorrow. I tested - on 12dpo, havent bothered since then. I know I am not pg. Are you going to do iui again this cycle? How disappointing it didn't work

have the rest of the week off work, after all the Sh1t recently I thought sod it I am going to have some time off and have some me time. Weather was awful chucked it down all day, ended up cleaning windows in the house!!
in the 1ww wait again for month 14 of ttc, already know I am out, have a sixth sense for these things, oh well, the docs said to keep trying till january then they will hopefully send us off for some more tests or refer us the fertility specialist.

CD18 today and last night we dtd and hopefully at least one more time today. No temp spike yet, so I am assuming I didnt ovulate just yet, maybe sometime today. FF says I should ovulate between yesterday and tomorrow. I still have my softcup in from last night, for good measure. I usually keep it in for the full 12 hours hoping as much

We carved pumpkins last night for my dd's school project of a storybook character. She picked Jack and Sally from the nightmare before christmas. Love that movie and the music!!! The pumpkin king!!! DH and I were so proud of my drawing the pumpkins up and him carving them, that we took a dozen pictures!!! hehe!!!
Halloween here in a couple days!!! Wahoo!!!
I'm going looking for your pumpkin photos on facebook! Halloween is not really a big deal in Australia but the kids still enjoy trickortreating. The general rule around here is, leave your front light on if you want to participate and leave it off if you don't want the kids to come a knockin.
That sounds like such fun TryFor - I'd love to see some pics! I miss carving pumpkins - they tend to go bad really quickly out here because it gets hot during the day still.
I am REALLY hoping I am more successful at resisting the halloween candy in the house today. After my in-laws visit and plenty of eating out, combined with the clomid, I think I am putting on weight pretty quickly. The last thing I need is to gain weight right now! That would not be good for my self-esteem after being laid off ; P
Ejay - a morning at your farm with your horses sounds so lovely. I still love your fertility goddess. One of my friends just had a baby girl but it took her a year to get preggo. She said a couple of weeks before she got lucky she held an african fertility idol. I'm on the hunt for one : )
Now I want a fertility doll!!! I need to resist chocolate and good stuff here too. I started my anticandida diet that my acupuncturist wanted me on yesterday and it sucks already! I was hungry alllll day. There is nothing I can just pick up and eat! Not even a piece of fruit! If infertility doesnt kill my will to live, the diet surely will! I have not had a coffee in a week and a half

So girls, after the long months of me complaining of not finding a job here, i did get one at Bath and Body Works, a month and some ago. Well anyway, its only a holiday job and I know they said hours are only available based on your availability. So anyway, I have only worked 3 times for them in 4 weeks, for only a few hours each time. Thats what they scheduled me for. I just checked my schedule and seen that they put me down for hours and days they already know I cant work. I am so frustrated. I gave my schedule before I was even interviewed or hired. I assume when you are hired and they already see your schedule 10X they would know that you cant work those days.....
DH said the lousy 3 hours a week isnt worth my time or my frustrations and to just quit.

4 lousy days......thats it and now its ruined. So just for that I am going to try tonight tomorrow and thursday....havent take an opk yet this morning but I will soon. Yesterday was negative, and I am still hoping todays is just because of the lack of bd. One time so far, thats it and I am so pissed. I figured instead of doing every other day until O, I wanted to just do it in one shot, so to speak, and not wear him out a week before I O.
