Hello - can i join you ladies? We have been TTC for 14 cycles and have our first inital fertility consultation in Nov as DH has low count, low motility, low normality!!! There seems no apparent reason why, he does not drink, no drugs is very healthy and takes every vit pill i give him - bless!!!

Are you coping ok or have you gone a little crazy too? sorry about your dh, that totally sucks especially as he's doing everything right.

It ws driving me very crazy as the monthly upsets was horrible plus everyone else around me being able to get preggers really easily. But now we have an appointment I feel strangely calm as something is being done!

Honeybee I see your appointment is at beginning of Nov, where are you going? We have ours on 17th Nov at Guys

We live in Essex and Dr referrred to London as its the nearesdt place if we need IUI or IVF treaatment. We could choose from Kings, Barts, Guys and i think St Mary's. Guys was nearest, good stats and said we would have one consultant for everything. We've decided that if the say IVF or IUI we will pay for private whilst witing the 2 years for NHS!!!! If NHS fertility treatment still exists by then :0)

the HFEA website is good. But as to waiting lists i think it is a lottery according to your PCT and how much money they have left.

Liz - we are doing IUI partly due to male factor issues, partly due to my narrow cervix.

Why can't my waist be narrow rather than my cervix?

well i just had my so called best friend get in contact with me to only send me a copy of her scan on my phone from the 22n sept... i would of had mine this week or next but i had lost it... now i feel like shit

Hee - we can talk about it but it probably won't lead to a hill of beans I'm better today, but the past three days I was sorta slightly motion sick. On Monday and Tuesday I just had a spell of it in the afternoon but on Wednesday it was pretty full on, all day. I've had waves of naseau in the 2ww before so I'm ignoring it. Thanks for asking about the symptoms I'm not paying any attention Honey, that was really sweet of you How are you feeling about this cycle? It is so hard to reach this point but every cycle you are one month closer

Honeybee - have now fixed link, though i have not written too much for a while, i think it will mainly be a end of TWW kind of moan! I only started it when we got referred, before then i was always hopeful i would not need one

MEH.... one of my fav shows is suddenly getting into an infertility story line. booooooo. she apparently has a 'hostile uterus'. This after she had a miscarriage in the season finale. Thanks Grey's Anatomy. Just what I want to watch....

I know what you mean! It seems like every show I watch suddenly has a story line like that. I watch tv to escape from my problems ttc, not be reminded of them!
