Wishing, wanting, waiting.....TTC for a year PLUS!

I'm trying to stay away from here today, but wanted to pop in to say hi.

haha squirrel, that was so funny, endless posts from you!

I know what you mean about the milestones, ive passed some, and some are approaching. Christmas is one for some reason, i feel like im hurtling towards it and if i hit it without being pregnant I'll breakdown. But I thought that about my birthday back in July and survived!

It's my 30th next July, and I realllly wanna go to Vegas. I wouldnt mind going if i was a few months preggo, but obviously I couldnt go if i was more than 5/6 months. I think I'll hold off booking it until spring, justin case.

interesting about the acu stuff eh? Hopefully that work on your scar will help you soph.

julia how would you get to disney land? would you have to fly there? you hate flying dont you?! Or am I confused with someone else? titi hates to fly too i think.

liz, i agree about the CBFM, I like mine coz it tells me about my high before the peak, i like that advance warning, other than that i dont think it's any better than opks.

Hi ladies! I'm about to head out for meditation practice with the local shambhala group. I haven't gone there in over two years and I really miss it. Definitely want to get back in the habit of meditating, I find it very helpful.

So glad the acu went well for honey and soph. That is great that you've been enjoying it too Liz!

I really like the screw it, I'm making vacation plans plan : ) and travel insurance is a great way to make sure you don't lose money just in case you are too preggo to go. It is definitely time to resume our pre-TTC lives ladies! I really like that attitude : ) No more waiting for milestones to come and go!!!

Julia - this is just my first IUI cycle but it is MyTurn's second.

Had a chilled out weekend had got nothing planned and ended up watching the old star trec movies on tv, the special effects were so bad!!!!

Jaimie - love the screw it attitude, I have had to cancel 2 vacations this year due to various issues. When OH and I first decided to start TTC 14 months ago now, we kept saying we better not book a holiday abroad as I might be PG. Well screw it, TTC will not put life on hold any more !!!!

We go to Disney World in Florida, and we drive down. Its about a 16 hour drive from where I live and we take turns so we each get a break. I am way too afraid to fly!!!
The reason I wanted to gfet the CBFM IS because of the warning before O so then I can just dtd every day during the high and the 2 peak days.....I am going to wait to buy it. IF I get AF in November maybe Ill buy it. Who knows?? I keep thinking about calling the RE and asking if he thinks I should be a patient again or not because I did just conceive??? Ahhh who the heck knows!!!

Eh, watching older movies after watching the new ones we have now is crazy!! Funny because the effects uaually are soooo bad!!! And the sound of the music!

I am going to book my vacations and just add the insurance option 'IN CASE' but no more of this waiting BS!!!

AFM, I am at CD9 and I have still some pink spotting....I wonder why it lasts so long after af??

This is my first cycle of temping, I just started 3 days ago. I am doing it Vaginally as I heard it is also a good way and pretty accurate. Since I paid for a 90 day FF subscription I am excited to see the lines go up and down and confirm O!!!

here is the post that i put in my journal..

CD22 almost CD23 and i still have tender breasts how... i do not know why and i wish i did... maybe the magic has worked but then i would only be about 7/8DPO i am how every 26yrs old tomorrow yay for me... a day at asda shopping with my birthday money maybe some nice new clothes and i might look for preg tests on offer dunno yet as Andy will be with me and he will only try to stop me lol.. then pick up the kids at 3:15pm and go to my mum and dads where i will see my 2 neices, sister, and nephew and posably brother in law not sure if he will come in though... and then its back home to go put the kids to bed and then a nice early night for me and Andy hehe...

but.... big surprice spoiler on the 30th i will be going to a nice hotel out of Banbury to go for one night with just Andy... fingers crossed the witch wont get me before the day though. and it will be nice as the kids will be going to my mum and dads for the night so a nice cuddle in the bed with the tv at the night as well as sex on and off hehe.

From what alot of women say, are that symptoms are different all the time. The month I got my bfp I had extremely sore (.Y.)'s but with Hailey (now mind you that was well over 6 years ago) I had nothing. Good Luck to you and hopefully the witch does not come!!! Have fun for your birthday!

Hi ladies, thought I'd check in. As for me, been kind of meh lately. Had to go to school on Saturday-it was our fall festival and I had to work at a game booth for an hour. Late Friday night our AC started making a horrible noise so we had to turn it off. Thankfully it is cool here at night. We had to pay 90 bucks for the AC guy to come Sat morning. He hit it with a hammer a few times, and said he was ordering a part, and we have no clue when it will be in. The part is covered by the warranty, but not the labor (the expensive part). We have no clue what that will cost.

Also, the gear shift on my car is sticking. It's so bad you need both hands to pull it and get it into reverse. It did the same thing a little more than a year ago. Only problem is now the car isn't under the warranty anymore, so no clue what it will cost us to repair it.

I'm also freaking out because DH has an eye disease that requires special hybrid contacts (they are half hard and half soft). These will cost $1000 for two pairs (one year's worth). We also found out we will have to pay a little more than $300 the day of dh's surgery and then we will also be responsible for 20% of the surgery cost. They weren't able to give me an estimate of how much that would be.

I'm just really freaking out about all this money that we will have to pay out soon. It could not happen at a worse time! We are going to Vegas Friday. I told dh we have to win big this weekend. I'm not too greedy, $100,000 will do.

Can he not wear glasses that cost a small fraction of the price of the contacts??? That is alot of money! Getting Lasik might be another great option!

No worries on the number of IUI cycles I've done Julia - it's all good in the hood! In my pants! I've got my pre-AF headache today though so I'm feeling a little less than optimistic. I have that interview today too - kinda excited and nervous about that. How is your holiday job going? I hope they've stopped asking you to come in when you told them you can't.

He wears glasses, but with glasses he sees how I do without mine. He has a disease of the cornea, and other than a cornea transplant, the only thing that would help his eyes are the hybrid contacts.

It went well Hun hubby was off, we went to asda and I brought some clothes (didn't get any tests) and brought me a mummy bracelet and angel wing earrings, I will go on the laptop later on when andy goes back to work and post up in my journal and paste a copy of it here, my boobs are still mega sore well my nipples are and andy said they look bigger and hard everytime he sees them, I have no idea what to think right now my mind keeps saying (YOUR PREGNANT!!! TEST NOW!!!) but I'm only CD24 so 4 days to go till I might be due for the witch (that's if my cycles are 28 days now) anyway better go got to get jay ready for dentis then school and I'm replying on my I-Pod touch lol. So hope you girls have a good day or night where ever you are and will be back later on.
