I finished with my BCP last week. Being as im not starting a new pack the bleed is lasting a lot longer (&more painful&heavier-prob not helped by the fact that i skipped the last two periods before that and took my pills back to back).

Has anyone else found the last bleed(withdrawl) to last longer?

When I stopped the pill my withdrawal bleed was the same as usual in heaviness and length I think. Then had my first "proper" period 5 weeks later (a week later than if I was still on the pill).

I have heard though that if you take two or more packs back to back and then stop, it can take longer to get back to your normal cycle so it may also have some effect on the heaviness of the bleed too?

Best of luck in ttc :)

I know taking two pks back to back have always had an effect on how heavy it is, thats my fault though really.

I get the feeling that it might continue for a few days longer than normal.

Thanks for your reply:thumbup:
