Won't poo in his nappy

Zach doesn't poo in his nappy, he will sometimes strain but then stop, once a day i will take his nappy off and leave it off for a while as he likes this, he always poo's when i do this and seems to wait until i take his nappy off. Has anyone else had this? I'm worried that he will hold it in until i take it off!

Maybe the nappy is too tight and hurts his tum? You could try undoing the nappy but leaving it on and massaging his tum clockwise.

Katie used to do this when she was young every time I took her nappy off she would do a poo my mam used to say it was when the air hit her bot.
She did stop doing tho just seemed to be a phase. hth xx

Take off his diaper and hold him over a potty.

I did think that his nappy might be too tight so i leave it quite loose but its still the same!

Hopefully he will just grow out of it then!

My LO was similar to this but it was a phase.
He would pooin his nappy but only in a clean one couldnt be wet or anything xx
