WOOO we have decided names!

Even though it is early i thought it would take forever to find names, we agreed on a girls name straight off but has taken much compromise to get a boys

My OH likes Jake but was saying he'd had the birth certificate as that, I dont like abbreviations as their only name, i dont mind Jake and am sure it wud be a Jake unless naughty, finally he agreed we could have a Jacob! At least now i know my child will be a J of some sort! IM not a fan of George so much and i feel that both middle namees are from his family, its not anythin against my familt but i just dont like the names, Eileen, kathleen helen etc, not my kinda names!

LOL i know for sure there is only one!!! It has taken us yrs to come up with names, we joked about having a girl called Jessica when we first met so that was a must but boys are soooo hard! i dont mind what/who i have now i know the names! I just want to find out NOW! so impateint, another 8 weeks or so til i hopefully can!

Ahhh i love them!! Mines going to be Mariyah Alexandra if its a girl and Eren Firat if its a boy!
Mariyah and Eren are turkish names like my OH
Alexandra is my mum's name and Firat is the FOB's name!
The naming bit is my favourite part but I'm sure we'll have many an argument lol

Very pretty names We've had our girl name decided for like a year which will be Elora Danan. And for our boy name I think we've settled on is Ethan James.

Have you had any trouble with Family butting in on what names you choose? My mother hated all my boy names, thought they were all wimpy or sissy

Lovely names, I have a Jacob Thomas. For this one I'm wanting Eliza Mae for a girl or for a boy something like Isaac or Samuel James, although with Jacob I struggled so much to find a name I liked, and boys names - I just can't seem to find one that I'm "in love with" which is making me stressed out xx

With our last pregnancy, we liked Jacob for a boy and were the same as you, OH wanted Jake and I pushed for Jacob as his 'proper' name. Its still pretty high on our list this time.

I am loving the name Violet at the moment but OH is having none of it. Also loving Ruby and Tyler.

My Mum has beena nightmare, i havent told her our boy name, dont need the greif! She didnt want me to use Elsie cause its not our family name! But i love the name elsie so it stays, also george is much oh grandad but i siply dont liike names on my side, when i told her that my OH likes John she said....oooh call it jonathan, ur father with love it! ARGGHHH thankfully i dislike both those names! Hence not telling people our boy choice1

I sooooooooooooo want a girl, but i have loads of boys names i love.. no other girls!? Weird!!

Love - Dylan, Nathan, Harrison, Harley and Blake for boys.. But have to incorporate the OH's grandads name into the boys so Jackson James it is.. lol

Fantastic names! Funny that you had an easier time with the girls' names than the boys'. We were exactly the opposite! And we've had our boy names picked out since before we even started TTC, but just started settling on some girl ones in the last few months. We're only 4 weeks now... so no rush, I know.

We already have a Wilson Harry so struggled to think of something that goes with Wilson but also fits with our surname Hooton! I think we're settled on Dexter Cohen for a boy and Sydney Jane for a girl, I wanted Sydney Coco but hubs point blank refused we've not told anyone our ideas for name yet simply because when we were expecting Wilson every name we mentioned someone had a dog called it or someone went to school with someone with the same name and they were awful people etc it got boring in the end we wanted Wilson didn't matter what anyone else wanted! X

We're having a hard time with boys.

For a girl we want Sophie Charlotte.

Boys are a problem. I like Thomas, Benjamin, Stephen and Malcolm but OH doesn't like them. OH wants Louis which I'm not a fan of.

We have decide on some things though. No J's for Boy or Girl. No K's for boy and we want names that rarely, if ever, get shortened.

Ugh, so hard.

Cute names! DH and I actually talked about Jacob too, so it's somewhat on our list. We've narrowed it down to 1 girl name but we're arguing about the boy name haha Which is a little ironic because we really want a boy!!

Girl - Peyton Eve (Eve is after my grandmother)

Boy- Talic Knight (I don't know what my husband is thinking by liking that name...)

Talic sounds like a powder or something I do really love the name Liam though...it's been on my list for awhile.
