Work cooling system broken - I'm melting!

ARGH the stupid cooling system has broken at work and it's sooooo hot I'm sweating to death and getting nothing done at all.

I'm hoping it's just my super sensitive pregnant nose but I stink.

They are hoping to mend it today but last time it was broken it took weeks.

I'm off to buy myself a fan tonight after work. My boss said he'd get one for me but it takes 2 weeks to procure it then get it delivered! Jesus it's just not worth it.

I work in Facilities and H&S and our AC unit is so old it has dinosaur skin!!!! I do know that asking you to wait two weeks is unacceptable. When I said I wanted one, my boss had to go to B&Q, buy one on her credit card and claim it back.

I feel for you, hun. I know what it is like. If you do buy yourself a fan, give the receipt to your manager and tell him you want the money back!
