Thanks for all your reassurances, stories and advise ladies, I really appreciate it.. I feel like I'm getting a picture of what it might be like and I will be prepared to change what I want if it is the best interest of my baby of course, though I will make sure I know all the options available to me. Thanks lovely mummas-to-be, wishing you all the luck with your pregnancies and births too

Wow you found the heartbeat? That's amazing.. I'd love to have a doppler, what type do you have?

The angelsound doppler (this one). Used it for all 3 of my pregnancies so far and still love it =)

Midwife cancelled today. She called, apologized and said she got called in to attend a home birth. Can't really complain about her doing her job now, lol. She's coming over tomorrow afternoon instead, so not much longer to wait.
