worried about my bad eating

I have been eating really badly lately , lots of sugary things like cakes and sweets and lots of take outs , I know its bad but I have been so tired and just craving these things , I am taking my pregnacare vits and drink at least 2 litres of water per day and try to eat fruit every morning , I am just worried though , is anyone else having same problem , seems to be every time I try to eat healthy something will come up to stop me , either I dont have time to cook or we go out somewhere and cant get something healthy
 
I wouldnt worry about it. Maybe try and get a few veggies in but it just might be a stage and next week you'll be craving healthy.
 
Ah I've been awful lately too, had a bit of a baking spell to so been making cakes - and then eating them!
You said your having fruit etc, so you are getting some good stuff! I wouldn't worry too much, as long as you don't have only crap stuff, you'll be fine.

I am the same, I drink loads of water and eat yogurts but barely any fruit or veg, definately not 5 a day! more like 5 a week and I plan to breastfeed. I have tried eating healthier but I just don't get full on fruit and find the taste of most of them revolting or the way they feel on my teeth when I bite into them. I am worried as its not the best diet but I cant seem to break the habit.
 
I'm the same, and feel very guilty :blush:

I seem to really crave the bad stuff, can't help it :blush:
 
I have been exactly the same. What's worse is if I see something I like (cake or muffin or donut) and I can;t chose, I buy both :(
 
I wouldnt worry too much, with my son I was really young and I didnt know any different, I ate out all the time, junk, cakes, never anything good and hes healthy :)
This time I could eat better for sure but I live in a really small town so I have to go "into town" to get groceries, now that Im further along I find it a lot harder to get there, walk around, etc etc so I dont go as often which means less fresh fruits and veggies in the house :/ If I buy what I will actually eat in a week or 2 they are all bad by the time I eat them all
 
I've lived off of donuts this pregnancy! Honestly, I know how you feel, I've eaten so much junk this pregnancy it's not even funny. Put on a ton of weight as well. In hindsight I could have done much better and I feel bad, but I did my best.
 
I've been eating pretty dreadfully too. Trying to keep taking my Pregnacare and get some fruit and veg in but I know my diet is not great at the moment. Ho hum.
 
I certainly dont think you are alone with your unhealthy eating, I'm the same and I can see from the comments above many women are. I eat fruit every day and I cook a decent meal every evening, but I'm finding I'm snacking alot more. I've put on loads of weight and you would think that would stop me but it hasn't, I'm just carrying on!!! I'm not impressed with myself at all.

I would try and cut down on the takeaways, but I know its hard. I have to admit I dont eat takeaways too often, but if my hubby let me I would every weekend.
 
I love my veggies - but I'm no saint, I also love biccies, sweets and chocolate.
How about drinking juice or smoothies? My faves are OJ or the big cartons of smoothies you can buy from supermarkets now. Baked beans also count as one of your five a day if you're pushed for time for a quick meal! Also how about soups for lunch? Anything with veggies in! Then treat yourself to a cake for afters....
 
I'm eating sweets as I read this. I feel ya. I do get fruits n veggies in tho..I'm sure you're fine!
 
i'm strugglin to eat anythin because of bad reflux... i can only eat a little at a time nd i'm never hungry ... nd i very rarely eat anythin healthy.
i take my vitamins every day... so that i know baby can take everythin he needs from me... nd try not to worry.
i told my mw the other day nd she said all i can do is try... as long as i keep takin my vitamins he'll be fine.
i've been like this for 6 weeks... my lo is measuring perfect... has good fm nd fh.

me too. ice-cream is my best friend at the mo. Ben and jerrys half price in tescos.

But i do eat loads of veg and have proper breakfast and eat fruit probs only once a day.

Infact i eat the same as normal except i have chocolate every day and then ice-cream at night. the only thing that'll be affected though will be my post-pregnancy bulge. oh well. bring on the BF-ing.
 
Only good things I am eating are about 4 yogurts a day and a pint of milk...the rest is chocolate, sweets, lollies, crisps, burgers, pizza..oh dear that's bad! so glad I am taking my pregnacare! x
 
Me too, but today all I wanted to eat was yogourt and fruit... it seems to come and go! I wouldn't worry, you're pregnant!! Enjoy it! :D
