Worried! Anyone have children with medical history?

my ds who is 15 has Di Georges syndrome and had major heart surgery at 4days old.
I had my 20week scan and all was well, but i've just got a letter in the post asking me to go to a fetal growth scan on wed!
I phoned to try and get the following week as it was short notice to tell work and they wouldnt change it,
I know I was referred to fetal medicine at time of booking with mw but unsure why I gotta have this scan now... Also got to see the consultant.. No explanation or anything
Am I worrying for nothing, is this usual?

I have to see fetal med too - mine is because ds1 was 4llb born due to placenta problems. With my fetal med I get a detailed scan that checks the blood flow and arteries in the placenta. They should tell you what they are looking for and give you lots of chances to ask questions.

thanks, do you think this is why they are seeing me then, the woman didnt know either when i tried to change appt, dp thinks its a good thing as they are looking out for me,
my initial thought was that something was wrong on 20wk scan and they didnt tell me and thats what it was for, but logically thinking it must be cos of son's condition..
when did you get scan?
