Worried! Evening Primrose Oil!

Hello ladies,

I got my bfp two days ago, I am very shocked tbh as had some health issues recently. I haven't got anymore more tests so waiting until tomorrow to test again! I also had bleeding at 10-13dpo so thought I had my period! Very confusing but will see what happens! Anyway I am worried as I have been taking EPO for health reasons and have just read it can cause miscarriage! I have stopped taking them, but only took them the last few days recently. My question is, do you think this small amount could cause miscarriage or affect anything? I'm really worried.

. I would definitely ask your doctor or midwife, but I would think you'll be OK. As far as I know EPO is only effective for inducing labour by ripening your cervix, when your body is getting ready anyway, so very early in pregnancy it shouldn't have the same effect. Plus it has a cumulative effect, so if you've only taken it for a few days that's a good thing . I'd check, but try not to worry. Oh and congratulations!
