So as many of you know I only very recently had a baby and now having another. I had a c-secton so Ive been worried about having a baby so soon after because I have more chance of uterine rupture. Well lots of people told me their stories and put my mind at ease, but for the last few days where I have my scar its slowly started to sting a bit more and the lat 24hrs its felt like its stretching really awkwardly (sory if that doesnt make sense). I told my doctor and he said that that was to be expected and that they will just keep an eye on it using regular scans. Well today its been really sore and I'm having alot of period like pains.

I mean when I was pregnant with Alex I got REALLY REALLY bad pains but this time Im worried because its really not that long after my c-section

Maybe you should call your doctor if ur getting those pains
To be on the safe side :hugs:

yeah, double check with your midwife. it does seem very early to start growing again after having a c-section. hope you start to feel better soon lovley

I just wrote to you about this in our messages, but I agree with the other ladies. Some soreness is expected, but extreme soreness is a reason to just give your midwife a call. Have you posted this in the first tri board? I'm sure someone over there would have personal experience.

yeah I posted it everywhere. I couldn't get in to see my doc but he rang me back and talked to me about it and said that it was to be expected. But Ive made an appointment to see him tomorrow.

i had a c section nearly 4 years ago and i get alot of strecthy niggles on my c section scar

This isn't exactly the same, but I had surgery in January on my uterus, tubes, and ovaries, to remove endometriosis, and the incision split open about a month later, only about a quarter inch deep so I didn't know how bad it was. I went to the doctor and they told me as it was partially healed already to just let it heal and it would leave a scar, but not cause problems. When I went to my first prenatal apt, I asked about it and she told me just keep lotion on the external incision to prevent it from getting itchy but it should be fine. I have had lots of pain inside, not like period pains, but sharp sudden pains and I think it is from this. The doctor keeps saying it is fine, but may be uncomfortable, so try not to worry. It is probably fine, though they may want you to do another Csection to prevent any rupture during birth.
