I'm beginning to worry something is wrong!
I started spotting on 6dpo, it started off browny discharge only when I wiped but it's seemed to get a big heavier and now it's more watery brown stuff with tiny black bits in it. Im on 10dpo now and not due af til 19th August. I had some cramps on 6dpo but nothing since. I've been feeling sick for a few days, been really sleepy and emotional. Usually ad is really heavy, red blood with some clotting and I get really sore boobs and major bad cramps but nothing do I don't think this is my af early.

Should I be worried? Anyone ever had this before and have s good outcome?

It may well be implantation bleeding. I wouldn't worry about it if it has never occurred before. You could well be pregnant. You can start testing to see if you are pregnant or wait until af due.

I tested on 8dpo bfn and again on 9dpo with diluted per and I thought I could see the tiniest line but I think my eyes were playing tricks with me. My tests are on the pregnancy test thread titled 8dpo. New test added 9dpo.

Thanks for your reply

Ok so now it has changed to a pinky colour and really watery. I may go and speak to my doctor.

Sure - speak with your Dr.

It is very unusual to get a BFP before 10dpo. Most positives are from 12dpo and up.

A Dr can give you a blood test as they are more sensitive than urine tests. They may also get you to wait until af overdue.

Are you temping? Another good clue is to see if you are sustaining a high temp. A high temp (above coverline on your chart) for more than 18 days in a row is most likely BFP.

I don't temp as i don't have a thermometer at home. I've taken it when I've been in work and it's been around 37. I'll temp again in a bit when I finishe break x

It's 36.6 so it's pretty normal

This is where temping is tricky - it must be a basal body temperature thermometer. You take your temp first thing in the morning before you do anything. Before you speak, move, get up, eat etc... Preferably it is after 3 hours of sustained sleep.

The thermometer needs to be close to you so you can simply reach for it and take temp before getting out of bed.

This is your lowest temp for the day. It also gives you your temp to four digits. So it would read 36.6?

My range of pre ovulation temps are in the 35.somethings. Once I ovulate my temp increases to 36.somethings. If it stays in the 36 range after af due then likely I am pregnant. Otherwise my temp plummets back to 35 range and af begins.

The temp increase is due to progesterone. This hormone increases our temp slightly - but enough for a marked increase. If you look at my chart - I ovulated yesterday which is why this morning my temp rose considerably.

Your temp during the day won't tell you what's going on as it is affected by climate, activity and food/drink consumed.

Hi I'm really sorry to butt in but was reading your post and have a question for shellvz, I've been temping at one point I was up at 37.04 nest day 37.07 and now I'm back at around 36.71 does this mean I'm still in with a chance, af due tomorrow making me 19 dpo but still getting bfns and reply would be extremely grateful xx

How long is your luteal phase normally? 20days seems quite long as average is 14days...

From what I have read 18 consecutive days of elevated temps are good indication of BFP. The temps need to be above your coverline. It doesn't really matter what the numbers are just that they stay elevated compared with pre-ovulation.

Usually once implantation occurs your temps will continue to increase. If temps beginning to decrease (in my case) I know I am about to expect af.

Never knew it was so complicated!

Once you get started - with bbt thermometer - it is as simple as taking your temp at same time every morning before you do anything. Record it in fertility friend and this app works out your coverline etc...

When your temp rises, you can see ovulation has occurred. Opk tests only advise when LH surge beginning but cannot confirm ovulation.

I have found it handy to temp because I know so much more about my cycle. It takes so much guesswork out.
