hi all...
i am 19 weeks and having this deep pain around my pubic bone....its not tender to touch bt quite enough to bring me into trouble whenevr i get out of bed or turn side while sleeping.
its more of centralized than one sided.i have been having it since 5 days now..no other heaviness or bleeding or discharge.tried to contact my midwife..bt she is nt around the city so cudnt talk to her.earlier..it was bad whenever i sat for more than 5 mins bt now..its all the time.i just hope it wil b alright in a few days..anybdy else having had the same and sharing wud be a grt relief ...thanx for reading such a long thing and for responding ..

thanx a lot dear... i have alrdy searched for SPD ... and i only wished i didnt have it... :(
bt i didnt have any problm following any activity but sitting..till yesterday wen i went shopping ( almost 2 hrs with intermittent rests ) and its worse than ever now. i just hope its not spd...which i think IS... any idea abt the prognosis of it...how long will i hv to suffer..or will i too b on crutches?

Could it be round ligament pain? I think you need to go see your doctor to be on the safe side

There are things you can do to keep it from getting worse. The main idea is to not separate your knees as much as possible when you are doing things (obviously walking is an exception).

When you turn over, put your knees together first and turn both legs together.

When you get in the car, sit your butt in and then pull both legs in together. Do that when you get out too.

When you are putting on pants or socks, sit down to do it so you aren't bearing extra weight on one side.

thank u both the ladies..i ll c a doctor asap and will take care of doing the things u hv mentioned :)

yes try to take it easy and check with a dr. i hope everything is okay :)
