i just have a weird feeling and have had for a about 2 days

i have an anterior placenta so i dont feel movement that much

and at my last scan on the 30 of last month i had a slight trace of protein in my urine but baby was fine and the scan went really well

but i just feel weird

and really want to see my baby to put my mind at rest

would my scanning dept give me a scan based on that ?
my next scan isnt until 11 nov and i havent had a urine sample since the 30th either i am soo worried as my mom had pre clampsia twice

Always worth getting checked out if you are worried
ring your midwife and im sure she will see you straight away
goodluck
let us no what happens

probably not. I'd go private though if I felt like something might be wrong. I'm sure nothing is :) Its easy enough for your MW to recheck BP and urine though so phone and ask to be seen.

just off the phone with a midewife and there doing NOTHING!
not even offering to take me in to listen to the heard beat!
i cant stop crying! i have already had 3 mc's and i am soo concerned
they woman didnt even seem concerned and was just huh yeah mm ok yeah huha and spoke to me for the total of 58 seconds

i just want my baby now so badly

prob not but if i were u id have a private scan to make u feel better x

I think the worst that could happen is insurance wouldn't cover it and you have to pay out of pocket.

i also have a doppler and i cant find the heart beat :(

Cant believe that midwife
that is wrong
ask to speak to another actually demand
its your baby so your right
goodluck

Book a drs appointment if your mw wont see you.

Call the labour ward/assessment unit and go in and see them. They should see you.

It might be better if you get down there in person as I'm sure they won't turn you away.

Hope all is well xxx

I would ask your midwife. I know personally I had to wait a week for my growth scan-and that was after the midwife was on the phone to the hospital for ages and asked for it asap. They are very booked up with scans in my area so don't just do them without good reason say on the authority of a midwife who asked for one etc
If your concerned with movement, what they may do is put you on a monitor for half an hour to check baby's heartbeat in the hospital.
:hugs:
Don't cry
xx

:hugs::hugs:I would go down to the labor ward, at least for the reassurance of listening to the heartbeat. Hope you're doing well

Its unlikely they would offer you a scan as you just have a feeling something is wrong, Some women go through a whole pregnancy constantly thinking something is wrong, but they cannot be scanned the whole time.

I would speak your concerns which you have done, try phoning the epu and tell them how you feel (again, I think its unlikely they will do anything as you are not bleeding or in pain)

If I felt the way you do I would book a private scan for reassurance.:flower:

Bloody dodgy that she won't even check your bp!!
I thought if you had a trace of protein they had to monitor you more closely?

protein traces are usually just contamination.

Contamination of what?
I was always told if you had any it should be checked out properly.
