Just thought I'd share...

My LO has been pooing for England for the last week or so!! And as a result got quite bad nappy rash.. I was changing her as soon as possible after each poo and was letting her air her bum for a while each day and using sudocrem/vasaline/bepanthen on her.. It didn't really seem to be going away.. :nope:

Anyway, I remembered using something on my son 7 years ago which worked wonders, and I saw it in Asda yesterday!

Metanium!!!

It's in a yellow tube and it comes out as quite a thick yellow paste. You only need a tiny bit and put it on thinly.

I've used it since about 4pm yesterday and the nappy rash has practically gone!

Very chuffed.. Highly Recommended.!

i use it too, they use it in the hospitals as well....the stuff is amazing,id recommend it to anyone....its a bugger to get out from under your nails tho!!

There is a 3rd off all baby stuff in Sainsburys at the mo so its less than 2 pound.

the HV prescribed SOphie some today, only put it on the once but glad to hear its worked well for your LO, i hope it works for Sophie too, her nappy rash is very bad due to diarhoea

I agree it's ace but very hard to get out of clothes and changing bag mat!!

I've never needed it for Skyla thankfully but I used it on my two boys and I agree its amazing. Everytime I see a thread on here about nappy rash I recommend it!

i have used this on lo as he had really bad nappy rash. a thin layer didnt work for us as it was quite bad but after a couple of days with a thick layer, it had dissapeared :-D x

Ohhh thanks for this! Will keep my eye out for some tomorrow he just has a teeny little dark red patch on his bum but it just wont go away! Doesn't seem to be bothering him but I dont want it to get worse or anything!

wow.. I am gonna get some of this just incase Mylo has nappy rash now his diet is changing with weaning etc.
