WTT because body isn't ready, not by choice :(

Hi ladies! So I've been over in the TTC thread for nine weeks since my miscarriage. It seems like a never ending ordeal, doctors are all saying different things, one even suggesting I need surgery, and then to wait six months after that to start trying!

I know many of you ladies have been trying for much longer, but every day since the miscarriage seems like an eternity to me! I'm so ready to be pregnant again.

Any of you ready to try but your body just isn't cooperating? Looking to get and give some support

I'm sorry to hear your news. I'm not in the same boat body wise, but I just wanted to say that your perfect baby will come and it will be worth every second . Many of us share the annoyance at waiting. I have six months to wait till trying and I just want it now! I just wanted to show my understanding to you xx

I am sorry for your loss hun. I can relate as after my losses I just so wanted to be pregnant again. I heard all different advice such as wait until a period, wait 6 months, bleh bleh but ultimately I knew when my body was ready. I split with my ex partner then and have waited 5 years to be TTC again.

Why are they suggesting surgery if you don't mind me asking?

well I have fibroids. They aren't huge and mostly medical professionals agree they don't do much harm and to leave them alone. But one doctor guy was like "well lets just take them out just in case". I'd understand if he actually looked at my chart and noticed something abnormal about the shape or placement of them. But it was just a blanket statement kind of. So hopefully the specialist in seeing next week will be more thorough and really help us find a solution for moving forward.

I'm sorry, I just had a mmc as well and am also being forced to wtt. I have adhesions and have just had a hysteroscopy to have them removed. I believe that is the same process to remove fibroids.

I'm also waiting for my body to get on board. I had a baby (our first) this past June and my period has yet to return. We planned on trying again when the baby got to between 9-12 months. I figure it'll take a few months for my period to regulate so I just assumed I would have had one by now but nope. It could take a year or longer.
I can't really figure out why my urge to be pregnant again is so strong. I hated the third trimester and the recovery from pregnancy is not fun. I'm completely enamored with my baby girl but I have the strongest urge to start trying again. I blame biology.

I'm sorry for your loss! Most girls I know who have had a MC, are advised to wait at least 3 cycles before TTC again.
My story is: My doctor called me the other day saying they have found CIN 2 cells in my pap test.. We wanted to start TTC baby No.3 in August 2015 but i guess that will have to wait until I am completely healthy. So..yeah.
I also decided to lose all of the extra weight from my previous pregnancies so - 7 kg's to loose! I have to keep myself busy while trying not to go completely crazy not being able to do anything about my current situation..

Tcinks.., we are waiting till July due to wanting to save more, moving to bigger house in April, to get engaged!? Hopefully haha! And as I haven't been in new job that long yet. So we decided on July as a good benchmark for all above we shall get there xx

I am in a similar situation. I lost two babies in the past, then started ntnp a while ago and got my bfp. Found out it was an ectopic and had to take drugs to bring on a miscarriage. I had to wait until November before ttc again because if the drugs I had taken. Now my cycles are irregular and my partner isn't quite ready to ttc, plus I am on the verge of getting a permanent job so it is wise to wait some more but I really don't want to!

Adhesions are scar tissue that can cause problems with implantation. I have to have another us done in January and they will give me the green light to ttc a few weeks after that if all looks good.

Hi everyone mind if I join in ? I'm new to WTT again like most of you not by choice I'm 42 since nov . First pg. at 40 ended I'm mmc at 12 weeks , pg again 5 months later baby boy born feb 2014 now 10 months . Trying 5 cycles due to the ticking clock and no success. Began loosing tons of weight and v light periods. Went to doc and been diagnosed on Xmas eve with post partum thyroiditis . Hard to treat as doesn't really respond to meds successfully for some . On meds for racing heart and another for dampen thyroid down . Cannot ttc while on them so I've to wait till my levels settle ... Could be 3 months or 18 no two people are the same . Hope I don't miss my tiny window !!!! Would love company in this journey

I am so sorry! I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to be so ready but you have to wait on your body and see if you get the go ahead! praying that you are given the okay asap!

along with the other poster (i can't see who it was while i'm replying :/) i am not in the exact same boat but i feel you on your frustrations. i am NOT a patient person and i am having to wait until september and that's only if everything works out right!

i am really needing a full time job before we start trying and we also want to get in a house as well. so until those two things pan out we gotta wait! it's really hard but i'm trying to just get myself ready before we do start trying.
