please take a look at this site an american couple are letting a poll decide if they keep or abort their baby.

i voted birth!

in some ways i feel they dont deserve a baby, but i still had to vote as i feel they will regret it if they do abort.

I cant actually believe this is on the internet, letting other people vote on a life. Might just be me but i cant believe it

A thread on this has already been closed on this over in first tri, it's against bnb rules.

I was about to say ^ :hugs:

I think they may be doing it as a publicity stunt..but even so, it baffles me that these kind of people exist!! :nope:

I agree that they are doing this for publicity, but even though this is insane, they don't deserve a baby either way they need to grow up and act as adults. They dont understand how hard it is to actually have a baby, and its just insane that they would put this out, shows that they only care for themselfs or lack of.

From reading their site I found that this couple have been married since atleast 2002. The woman has had 4 miscarriages before. This is their 3rd planned pregnancy. This pregnancy they have found her to have a large subchorionic hemorrhage covering 50% of the placenta. This can cause growth restrictions, preterm labor, and miscarriage. I agree they are probably getting some sort of financial gain from the website and interviews but I think they are trying to avoid what they feel is inevitable (miscarriage) and are looking at possible risks to both mother and baby. I think I would leave things in fates hands but I cant truely say what I would do without being in that situation.

makes me mad people only see 2 choices abortion or keep 'it' .... shes 17 weeks why not put the gorgeous baby up for adoption and let baby have chance of real parents who WANT it soooo bad .... grrrrr
