Xmas Day Clothes/Outfit?

Thought i'd make one of these for 2010

So, what are you wearing for the big day this year? And any gorgeous LO's of course!

I've always got me and maddi dressed in an 'outfit', if that makes sense?! Like new legging's and jumper, but i'm wondering this year, if it might be a case of new 'comfy's'!

We wont go out (unless for a little walk), so i'm thinking cosy day clothes! Though i do like to take a 'nice' picture

I always make james (OH) wear a new outfit, as they pop out for a quick drink at pub and he always took the mick about new clothes on xmas day, so there he is

I have my new pj's and slippers already bought in the la senza sale a whil ago for christmas eve/morning

Outfit I wore last year on xmas day was new leggings and the new look top that everyone seemed to have (black with red roses on it) I had just had LO so it was comfortable clothes!

This year clothes for christmas day for me and LO .....I'll get back to this lol

I put Amelie in a party dress this year but think I'll just get her a new outfit from somewhere nice

We were just at a wedding at the weekend so my 2 yr old has trousers, shirt and waistcoat from that, so that outfit's a possibility. If I get the chance I will wear it on him between now and then though too! Last year he got a new outfit (from benetton) from his granny on Christmas Eve so he wore that on Christmas Day.

I might wear the dress I had for the wedding. If not that, something else dressy/ I'm on my feet doing dinner but I don't care, it's Christmas!

Baby- will be 8 months so prob something new as don't think current clothes will fit! Maybe get one of those "baby's first Christmas" t-shirts if they're going cheap!

Hubby will sort himself out.

Chloe and Jaycee will be wearing a nice dress! I like them to look smart. I dont buy them Christmas outfits..
I will most likely just be in jeans and a top! I do like to be comfortable.

Im due 21st december but im pretty sure a c-section will be the case so Sian will only be a week old ..we went to turkey and i brought her a newborn red with silver berrys dress, like a princess dress with a tutu effect at the bottom, with some cute tights and a really warm fluffy white cardigan its boootiful!
As for me? well ill be wearing my all in one fat suit that suposed to squash in all ur fat and give u a slender sillohette (sp?)

hi,

kids all have new shirts as a gift, which they will wear with jeans etc. OH has bought me a very short denim skirt with leggins so i will have that on but not sure about top, and OH will propably have a new top or something.

I have bought both my little ones something to wear for christmas day. Robyn has a little miss santa outfit complete with hat and Elliot has a sleepsuit that when on is like Father Christmas outfit, it is so cute ~ and warm, which is the main thing on a cold day!!! Haha

I won't be wearing anything new that day unless the OH has bought me something as a gift, and the same with him.

Still need to by some new nightwear for the kiddos for Christmas Eve though, I want it to be special

awww that is gorgeous! Maddi had very similar to wear in the december of her first christmas

I was chatting to OH about when we could start letting her wear it to get a bit of use out of it, I said although it is very festive it is just quite wintery as well with the snow flakes on the tights. I think perhaps beginning of december and then into january as well

oh loving this thread!

my LO will be just over 1 and i'm assuming still crawling. The issue we have is that dresses get trapped under her knees as she goes along so i'm on the look out for a cute wintery "all in one". I like the the knittetd ones that have a christmassy pattern on them like this:

i really want a nice jumper dress for christmas day with some leggings, nicole has some lovely new dresses and the boys, i really want to get them matching xmas jumpers but if i cant then they will probably just be in their new cardies and jeans.

last year sophie-lou had a beautiful party dress, but this year i'm thing maybe she will have some leggins and a lovely jumper dress (alot more comfy)
