Yay for belly beltsand new bras!

I am sooooo glad I brought belly belts at the weekend. My work trousers are completely undone and nobody can see (useful as nobody here knows I'm pregnant yet)!!!

Also brought some non-wired bras. So comfy! Wish I had done this weeks ago! I don't want to resort to maternity clothes just yet!!!!

They are belts of elsticated fabric that go around your waist in between your top and trousers. I was having problems with the fasteners on my trousers and got fed up with walking around all day with them gaping undone and these belly belts just cover up the open trousers so they look closed. Hopefully I will get to wear my 'normal' clothes for a bit longer because of these and they have plenty of growing room in them! I got mine from mothercare, a black and a white for £10. They are much thicker than a normal belt and apparently are good for your tummy once you give birth.x

My husband pointed those out to me as I too have to unbutton my trousers at work! Can you wear long tight tops over them without it showing underneath or are they quite 'bumpy' under clothing? Im 'in between sizes now its so frustrating! Size 8 is too tight and 10 is too large and they dont have belt loops.

I just looked these up and they are called belly bands here more commonly in the US, and Target has them for $16.95. Thanks for the tip, I'm going to buy one today to try! I've been looping a hairband through my buttonhole of my jeans to give me a little more room but I'm needing some more now:-]

Wow, these look great! I've been looking for something to make my jeans bigger. Might have to get myself one of these too!

I have a black one from Target and LOVE it!

They feel really nice - and do a good job holding up the pants. I only started using it on some of my pants that feel snug - most of my jeans I can still wear ok, but they are feeling tight on my tummy and that's where these come in.

They are quite different to your guys ones, but GREAT for the summer as they mean I can still do it up, and at the same time feel like I'm done up!
