YAY so good to see a thread for us

Hi girls hope i can join.
Me 43 and OH well new hubby is 46 and we have been ttc for the last 21 months and have had 7 m/c but its not holding us back and was told to expect a lot of them so its all part and parcel of our journey. We had our last appointment at the specialist last month, not good news as she says that my eggs will not be much good at my age, well i saw read and have told her where to stick her information from her medical journals as so many women my age get pregnant without the medical profession having anything to do with it so we are now out on our own but have the attitude that we have given up so when it does happen eventually then it will be our miracle baby and done with all the love that we have .
So we are enjoying each other and letting it just happen and im only taking pregnacare healthy conception and this month am trying 75mg asprin just to see as i have read so much about it helping to stop miscarriage and women have fallen pregnant within two months of taking it of my age so there's always hope.

Good for you!! I cant beleive how easy docs hand out this opinion these days.....
I agree that the baby aspirin seems to make things easier, ive seen it in many of my friends. I also took it this month, AF is 2 days late so im hoping it did the trick for me.

Oh hun i really hope so when are you going to test, god im so excited for you and really hope too that this works i must admit i have a fantastic feeling about taking it and feel really hopeful.

Thanks babe! I will be testing Sunday or Monday. Im doing this for 2 reasons: 1. im not sure what day exactly i ovulated and 2. My cycles have been a bit irregular after my last D&C.
I would rather AF get me than see a bfn... Im feeling optimistic though, my boobs hurt on and off and i get the occasional bout of nausea (but i also get these before AF!!!!!)
I also took vitamin B12, and drank shit loads of grapefruit this month. If nothing else this combo restored my ewcm that i hadnt seen for 5 months!!

well it all sounds fantastic, i havent had grapefruit juice so perhaps i should drink some as of tomorrow LOL and see if that helps too.
Fingers will be tightly crossed for you and i feel the same i would always rather see af than bfn anyday

It is definitely possible to conceive naturally after 40. I know of two examples in my personal life. My ex was conceived when his mother was 45. And my granduncles wife conceived her last in her 40s as well. She swore she had a tumor and after getting the test results the doctor told her she had a 9 month disease... she freaked out because she didn't get the joke and thought she was dying. well all they do is read from a f****ng text book (sorry for the language) and then read it out to you in the consultation and thnk that they have done their job !!!!!
We all i can say is that they are very clever and well done YOU CAN READ !!!!!!
