Hi all,

Just a quick question. Emma is exclusively breastfed, and tonight threw up twice. In each vomit, there were small amounts of yellow fluid. I took her to the dr, who didn't seem concerned, but I just don't think this is normal.

What do you all think? Should I be worried?

I should add that she is in no pain, and seems bright and alert, no temperature, slightly sunken fontanelles.

its stomach acid or stomach fluid proabably or a bit of mucas /snot that she has swallowed i wouldnt worry about it its normal, just keep feeding her as normal

Yeah it sounds like bile out of the stomach,or if she is a bit sniffly it could have run down the back of her throat and caused her to vomit, this happens to my lo too.

Probably bile, takes me back to my morning sickness days (thank god that's over!!)
