Pointless thread really but wanted to share.... baby is now head down after being breech and me doing everything to turn him round! Guess it worked and its positive news for anyone else going through this at the mo :)

yay... glad to hear baby switched positions... :D

I've got a scan tomorrow to see if baby is breech so this has given me some hope. What did you do to try and get baby turned?

Mine is still breech and has been (well knew since I had a scan) at 28 weeks and I am now 33.
How far along are you?

My ticker is a week out so I'm actually oly 36+1 but it's been a long road... Ds1 was breech all the way through to c-section at 39 weeks so when I discovered ds2 was also breech at 32 weeks, then 34 weeks I realised I needed to take action... I went to see an osteopath to realign my spine/pelvis and get everything in optimal shape for birth- I also went to an acupuncturist who did moxibustion on me and I've been doing the same treatment at home for the last ten days plus lots of inversions off the sofa! My mw said today that she is pretty sure baby is cephalic with his head at the brim so I'm really pleased... Obviously there's still a chance baby could change again but at least I know now that baby being head down is possible :)

I've been looking into moxibustion and have read loads of positive things about it. Sounds a lot less invasive than ECV too. See how my scan goes tomorrow and then will definitely Give
it a go. Thanks x

I'm off for a scan tomorrow too to see if baby is breech or not.

:happydance: Congrats that your LO has turned and I hope they stay that way for you now :flower:

Snoopee I'd really recommend it if you are still breech- every time OH did the treatment on me I could feel baby going like a spin cycle in my tummy, it was really that noticeable. I'm going to get on my yoga ball now to start trying to get him engaged!

That's amazing, hopefully it won't come to that but if it does at least there's something I can do to help. Good luck getting baby engaged x

Congrats, I understand the relief that comes from getting the baby heads down. Unfortunately, didn't get that chance with my first son as they didn't realize he was breech until the day I went into labor.

For those looking for natural ways to help turn a breech baby, my midwife gave me a website called spinningbabies.

Great news! So glad baby decided to cooperate. I've started doing the different positions on Spinningbabies since my babe has yet to be head down this whole pregnancy. Moxibustion did not work at all for me when my son was breach. I just don't understand how it does what it does!
