I have PCOS, and I used Fertilaid and had success with getting pregnant, but I miscarried at 6 weeks. Fertilaid says to stop taking the pills once you have a positive pregnancy test. I now have a theory that the fertilaid balanced my progesterone so that I could get pregnant, but when I stopped fertilaid suddenly, then my progesterone dropped too low to keep the pregnancy. Now, I'm researching vitex. I've read that you can take vitex through the first trimester. It looks like fertilaid is the same as vitex plus a prenatal. I'm wondering why not take fertilaid through the first trimester? What are your experiences with fertilaid or vitex before or during pregnancy?
