Although there is tons of information available online, I want to get a book to enjoy some pregnancy reading too. Just wondering if you ladies have any suggestions?

I did some research online and found that the most popular "What to Expect..." seems to scare most ladies and makes them paranoid. I do not think I want any more negative thoughts than the ones that naturally pop up in my head. Hence, skipping that one.

I have heard good things about Pregnancy, Childbirth and the Newborn. Have any of you read it?

Since I just started my second trimester, I am looking for a pregnancy guide more than a birth or newborn adviser at the moment. Thanks a ton. :flower:

This is what I have and I love it, my mums a nurse and recommended it.. Shows development, birth, info for dads to be, newborn care and help with mental issues as well as psychical issues of pregnancy and PND xxx

I'm reading "what to expect when you're expecting". Yeah its good, I would recommend. x

I've just ordered The Best Friend's Guide to Pregnancy and Belly Laughs on recommendation from the ladies on here. I think they are supposed to be quite funny. My OH read Fatherhood: The Truth when we first got our BFP and that was funny too. I need a good laugh.
