I love books & think that my lo will never have too many books! I'm always on the lookout for good books so what is your favourite? :coffee:

I love 'Room on the Broom' & anything by that author & am now collecting my lo the 'That's not my.... Books!

What are your favourites? :flower:

My LO loves Julia Donaldson books and the That's Not My.... series too :)
My favourites to read to her are The Places You'll Go by Dr. Seuss (LO adores Green Eggs And Ham!) and the Beatrix Potter books.

harry loves peepo the board book version he likes peeping through the holes xx

I actually love Victoria Plum books, they are from the late 70s 80's and I get them from ebay as I read them as a child! Also easy readers from M&S because they are short for us to read to babies with short attention spans and will also be great when they are older for baby to read themselves.

I Love You Through and Through

Such a sweet book

The hungry caterpillar!!...And I think it was called..I went to the zoo??? Its been a while! lol But we still have all of Coreys books for Zane :)

Callum loves That not my... books

and also loves the hungry caterpillar and each peach pear plum xx

We love "Giraffes can't dance" and "Aliens love underpants"

I get most of Sophie's from the library, but she loves 'thats not my...' and she has a couple at the moment 'peekaboo zoo' and 'peekaboo moon' that are really good x

I'm seriously tempted to get the Brambley Hedge collection, even though LO is too young for them. Waterstones has an offer on them. I used to read them to my little sister. They're such lovely books.

Bramble Hedge - haven't heard about those for years. I loved them too.

My fave at the moment is "Tiddler - the story telling fish" lovely rhymes and the right length for our evening book. Ollie cuddles up to me and listens intently to it.

Love, love, love Goodnight Moon. Its such a sweet and simple book. I know it off by heart. All Kinds of Families by Mary Ann Hoberman is a bit longer but so cute and amazing illustrations. Check out Around The World With Mouk by Marc Boutavant for amazing pictures, it is still one of my 3 year old favourites. I have 2 copies because I love it so much! Great books for babies include the Baby Touch books, Roger Priddy and Bright Baby books.

Sorry I could go on forever and ever! We are major bookworms in our house! We are also big fans of Julia Donaldson, The Snail and the Whale is our fave. Also the Lydia Monks books and When I Dream of ABC by Mr Henry Fisher is just lovely!

Sorry, I will stop now! Happy reading xx

The Gruffalo, LO loves the silly voices especially when his grandad reads it to him :)

Most of the stories I was going to mention have already been said (good taste, ladies!)

I'd add Monkey Puzzle by Julia Donaldson - Rebecca loves that one. Also I quite like Peace at last - it's cute.

The very hungry caterpillar and 'from me to you' which is the story of the me to you bear and tells you how he turned out to be grey with a blue nose! Xx

I love books and love that Lily is getting into them. I love the way she looks at them with big eyes and grabs at them and runs her hands across them, it's so cute :) I'm just trying to get all kinds of books to read to her, I try to read to her every day, usually before bed time but sometimes earlier if she's been cranky lol

Right now I'm collecting the free books that come in the Cheerios boxes, they're adorable. The stories are so cute, my favorite to read to Lil is "No T-Rex in the Library"

I also want to collect for her some books I loved when I was a kid like "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" "Sylvester and the Magic Pebble" "Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" "The Hungry Hungry Caterpillar" and "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"

OH! And Dr. Seuss Books! We got "The Foot Book" for free at a play group and of course I got my favorites "Green Eggs and Ham" "The Cat in the Hat" & "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas" I got her "Oh Baby, Go Baby" b/c it has the stuff that she can feel and move, and she has "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" I think those are all the Seuss books she has, for now!

I'm workin' on a little library for her! LOL

I remember getting the "Whatamess" books (about a messy dog) from the library when I was little - haven't seen them since though... Also love Paddington Bear.
