Your stories with Metformin

I was wondering if anyone would like to share there experiences with Metformin?
I took it for a few months and became very ill. Had stomach problems and lost alot of weight which made me extremely weak and ill.

Anyone else had problems with metformin?

Metformin can make you ill and get you to lose weight by making you ill. Usually I feel bad on the meds when I eat carbs or sugar, or i change to a diet for the first week or two.
I have been on it so long, the stomach problems don't really bother me anymore. Right now I am avoiding the carbs so the metformin hasn't been too bad. I also make sure to keep hydrated while I am on the meds as well.
