Yummy oaty biscuits

    • 1 1/2 Cups SR Flour
    • 1 1/2 Cups Oats
    • 1 Cup sugar
    • 1 TBLS Golden syrup
    • 4OZ Marg
    • pinch salt
    • 1/2 TPS Bicarb Soda
    • 3TBLS warm water

    No prior preparation is required.

    1. Mix all dry ingredients together
    2. Melt Marg and add
    3. Add treacle
    4. Add water
    5. Mix together really well
    6. Should be a dough you can roll with hands, not too sticky, not too dry
    7. If dry add bit more water or marg and treacle
    8. Roll balls of dough in hands and place on a baking tray, slightly flatten
    9. Leave a gap between as they spread out
    10. These take around 15 minutes but check until golden
    11. Remove from oven
    12. Place on rack to harden
    13. Enjoy
