ZIKA Travel - Florida

Hey have any of you heard about whether or not travel to florida is safe? We are TTC and i have a business trip to FLA next week. It will be the week I ovulate so I wont be pregnant, and wont even be TTC until the end of the week when I'll be back home, but not sure what to do. Seems like everyone is freaking out about florida.

Well I just returned from South America and I'm about to start my fertility treatment so I'm going to go get tested for Zika. I'm in Florida. I think you should be fine though, there are no mosquitoes this time of year as it's too cold but if you feel apprehensive just make sure you have some mosquito spray with you! I think there's more panic by the media than it needs to be. You won't be pregnant and the virus lives in your body for a week only so you'll be just fine.
