I'm 28 and can't wait to be a mom. I've been waiting for many years to start trying. The main thing that stands in our way is that I'm on Zoloft for anxiety and depression. I tried to go off of the Zoloft and it was horrible...I really couldn't function.

Has anyone been on Zoloft during pregnancy? My doctors say it is safe, but I would love to hear about other's experiences.

HEY! I used Zoloft. BUT I came off of it so that I could TTC. What I have read so far is that it is safe, I plan on Breast feeding and I always get post pardum depression so I know I will need something and I am prepared to ask for it too!

I was on Celexa with my second and I DO NOT know for sure but he had lots of lung/breathing problems. He also has Down Sydrome. SO it could of been from one or the other.

I could really use the Zoloft however, I feel better when I am on it and I have never had panic or anxiety problems I guess cause I was on the zoloft but I am having issues with it now. Rapid heart beat ect...

If your Dr says its ok and you really trust him I would say go for it.

My sister is on it right now and she is pregnant. Her doctor says it is safe and a baby specialist that she has to see prescribed it to her, so I assume its safe!!!
