1 year old boy photo shoot suggestions

For those of you who have boys and have done a photo shoot at 1 year, what did you do with them? I don't want to do a smash cake. I would like to do something outside. I don't have many ideas.

We did some pictures of him in his cot with some balloons and a cake smash... I know this isn't what you want though

Pinterest have some pretty nice ideas for outdoor shoots, how about playing with bubbles outside?

One of my favourite photos of DS1 from around that age (tho maybe closer to 18mns) is him sat in our garden with toys in the background blowing bubbles. It's such a natural shot!

I'd just go for him playing outside with bubbles/balloons/balls and snap away. I much prefer the natural shots that really capture their personality to studio photos
