My 10.5 month old has been spitting up once or twice a day for the last week or so. It's just the normal white spit up that you get from younger babies when they burp, and he doesn't seem ill. Is there some digestive system development going on that I don't know about? Is it normal? I'm just surprised, he hasn't spit up in months.

Edit: It's always when he's crawling around playing, and doesn't seem to be related to whether he's eaten recently, or whether he's eaten purees or formula at his last meal.

Mine used to do this sometimes when she was going through a dribbly stage, often due to teething, and the dribbling/swallowing would upset her stomach a little and make her more burpy. Like yours, she stopped consistently spitting up a fair while ago - maybe 5-6 months ago. It hasn't happened at all for about 2 months now, but she definitely went through stages where it would happen occasionally, and it did usually seem to coincide with a dribbly stage!

Oh my soon to be 8 month old is still a frequent spitter. The doctor keeps saying that he is just a healthy spitter as he is gaining weight just fine and does not seem uncomfortable when he spits up. I just wish that he would grow out of this soon. I do so much laundry and feel like he or I is constantly wet.
